Golf is a great game and can become very frustrating for most golfers. It can be such a sweet game when you play well, and then it can be that day of ‘what the’. Here are 5 simple ways you can look at now to improve your game and play better golf

1. It is in your best interest to follow the games of your favorite touring pro or highly trained instructor’s opinion and then use their golf club reviews to find the best clubs that may help you improve your game.

2. Study the experts and follow their advice, there’s a simple reason why certain golfers are so successful, it’s because they know what they’re doing. But so many golfers don’t regularly learn from other golfers, they try to improve their game on their own and it often is a much slower process this way, read, learn and study other golfers to improve your own game and especially your swing, if you’re slicing.

3. Keep you club faces clean. If you have the slightest dirt or grit on the face of the club, it can affect the flight of the ball. Be sure to clean your clubs after every round. It can make a difference.

4. Your Stance - The important point to remember with the stance is to keep your weight balanced and your feet position getting wider up to shoulder width as the club you are using gets longer. So for the driver you will want the most stability thus a wider stance with your legs shoulder width apart is ideal. Also the ball position should start at the center of your stance for a wedge and move up to the heel of your left foot for the driver.

5. Work on swinging to a beat. Pace yourself when you practice. Think of your swing as a one-two motion. One is your backswing. Two is your downswing. You can even say something like “one-two” during the swing. “Back and through,” “low and slow,” or “turn and turn” also work.

The tips above are simple but are often overlooked - because there are so simple. If you keep it simple - your game will be much more effectie and consistent. At the end of the day, consistent practice is the key.
