While searching for my own little piece of the world to call Paradise and retire to, I read countless articles and visited many websites looking for information. I also traveled extensively in both South East Asia, Europe and Latin America before finally settling in the Central American Republic of Panama.

I ended up with reams of bookmarks and an overload of information, most of which looked good at the time but failed to pass the ’smell test’ on arrival.

My aim with this site is to allow guests to write about their favorite places and give you, my loyal reader, a personal insight into lesser known places. Some articles will inevitably be promotional in nature, that’s the way of the world.

But………

Unlike static websites, here you can make your voice heard by adding your own experiences of a place via comments.

You are also welcome to visit my Panama site, where I share my own experiences and photos of Panama, without all the hype. Panama is my paradise, the good outweighs the bad from my point of view. Non promotional in nature, with photos of reality.

I know my writing and snaps won’t win any prizes but I enjoy trying anyway.
