China plays host to some of the most interesting and historically compelling sights of anywhere in the world. For example, Silk Road has existed for centuries linking China to many other large trading locations such as Persia and India. Further still were trades with Greece as well as Rome but items and good were not all that was bartered. Ideas and customs were exchanged as well between what are now considered present day cities but then were grand and expanding civilizations. A visit to Chang’an, the ancient capital, is also worth it because of how vast and awe-inspiring the history is in this city.
Not surprisingly, due to the large number and size, China contains several fascinating attractions including intriguing customs, backpacking, land excursions, pandas, eco-tourism, and trips on the Yangtze. We recently traveled to China from Benidorm, Spain and it was a wonderful trip with great weather. Anybody who yearns to be in the wild and is brave in the face of risk will want to discover all that hiking in China can reveal from the cold climate of the tall snow-capped mountains to floral paradises. Hiking through China’s landscape should include a visit to some of the tallest and most isolated places like the Tibetan Plateau as also further down in South China’s tropical forests. And, no doubt, and adventure travel package should consist of an expedition to see the historically significant Great Wall of China.
One other great attraction that is offered on a China adventure travel tour is the native Pandas. These animals originated in China and are cute and cuddly when small and exquisite to look at when they are older. Many pandas in the country are housed in Sichuan were they are protected and regulated by law. At least sixteen reserves exist housing a number of these animals that are constantly straddling the extinction lists. For a definite opportunity to view pandas, traveler should definite visit Sichuan because eleven conservation structures are there housing pandas.
Vacationers might also desire to participate in an eco-tour while as a part of their traveler packages. These tours specifically focus on the fauna and flora of China such as of the native birds and exotic plants. Actually, China is renowned for extensive geographic variety and wildlife and flowers as it features landscapes of deserts, plains and grasslands. Each landscape is quite expansive, so they take much time to explore all aspects of them. No country rivals China in the number and range of species and floral assortments, which is why the country receivers thousands of visitors every year.
Ultimately, adventure travel packages to China offer more than many would expect. Hawaii and Florida may have sun to relax under, but China has a history that reaches back centuries. And that history is reflected in its villages, temples and rice paddies. The country’s festivals feature dragon costumes and music, a custom that has been carried through many generations. And because China is so populated, there is plenty chance to bump into a local and inquire about little known customs and perhaps even experience them. A China adventure travel package is a chance in a lifetime to experience centuries of history in the now.
